1. Understand and Recognise Gender-Based Violence

1.1 Unpacking Gender-Based Violence 

We will introduce and develop an understanding of gender-based violence in this section; including the definition and the forms it can take. We will also touch on the recognised drivers of gender-based violence to better understand the factors that predict violence. 

1.2 The Gendered Nature of Violence 

This section will explore who is impacted by gender-based violence, share statistics, and introduce the concept of intersectionality through a video by Our Watch.
