2. Being an Ethical Bystander

Here we unpack some of the social norms and attitudes that perpetuate sexual violence. It is important to understand how gendered violence is perpetuated by cultural norms and attitudes. Traditional gender roles, oppressive policies and discrimination, manifest in harassment, 'jokes' and isolation which are all enabling factors for sexual violence.
