You are not alone.

If you are experiencing violence in your relationship/s, there are local and national support services for you that are dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex and queer (LGBTQIA+) people in the community.

Many of these services can be accessed via phone, through web-chat (online), and/or in-person provide you the option on how and when to reach out for support. These services exist to listen to you, provide you with options, and support you to decide what feels right for you. This may include information, over-the-phone counselling, referral and/or advice around your support, reporting options, and more.

If you would like to locate a service that is right for you via a map, you can access Say It Out Loud for free for a directory of services near you:

There are a variety of Australia-wide (national) services and Queensland-based support services for domestic, family, and sexual violence alongside reporting options, services for your sexual and reproductive health, and other needs.
