The results of the 2021 National Student Safety Survey commissioned by Australian universities and UQ’s results can be accessed from this page.
We sincerely thank UQ students who participated in the survey. Their courage in speaking up gives us a clear understanding of the prevalence of sexual harassment and sexual assault in our community.
To the survivors of sexual harassment and sexual assault, we are sorry that this happened to you. Everyone has the right not only to feel safe - but to be safe - when they come to UQ.
As an institution, we need to do more to make this happen and we are committed to acting on the outcomes.
Our Respect website includes details of the support available.
